I was born in Dayton, Ohio. I went to Berea college and have a bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and a second major in Agricultural Science.
I joined the US Army and was a radar repairer. I married Tim, my husband of 28 years, while I was in the Army.
I did in home daycare after spending five years in a factory job. While I worked and raised my
two daughters, I went back to college and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.
I have been teaching ever since then.
I have taught Kindergarten, 5th and 4th grades. I taught for several years at Fulton Elementary before
coming to Perrin Woods Elementary. I have been here for 4 years.
I like computers, reading, drawing, hiking, swimming and writing. I like animals, flowers, beautiful scenery, and going to new places.
One of the most exciting trips for me was a trip to Sicily to see Ashley.
